Dayana is a Chicana artist from Southwest Detroit, Michigan. She earned a BFA from College for Creative Studies in 2022. She majored in Art Practice and completed the k-12 Art Education Certification program. She has exhibited her work at Galerie Camille among other regional exhibitions and has performed live painting at Charles Wright Museum, Shinola Hotel and Hotel St. Regis. Dayana experiments using traditional and multimedia. She is an interdisciplinary artist, currently focused on painting. Her paintings reflect her research, in culture, identity, spiritual growth/ mysticism and well being.
